Why is it a magnet for hate?

Anonymity brings out haters. Simply a fact of life. Because this is a 'safe' arena to spew, where the worst that happens is the removal of a disposable email account, they feel free to lash out. And vocal users always are more noticeable. The quiet, polite ones don't make such a big splash, so their appearance is not as evident.
