Is it weird that I support marriage rights for gays but am against repealing DADT?

The way I look at it is if two gay people love each other and want to get married, fine. However, the military is a different setting. The first priority of the military is defending our country. The people that join know this. You also cannot openly cheat on your wife if you're in the military as you could in the civilian world. I personally would not have a problem serving with s but I can't speak for everyone. The fact is that many soldiers would be uncomfortable with it, issues would pop up and the mission would suffer. It's just the way it is. I think the commandant of the Marine Corps is a much better person to judge this situation than some judge who has no experience dealing with a military setting.
