Swimmer ear infection?

Ok i got back from the doctor yesterday, He said I have a swimmers ear, and he gave me two anipodix if thats spelt right, i take two ear drops every 4 hours, and i have two pills i take one when i wake up and when i go to bed all together 2 a day, anyways this morning i woke up and put ear drops in and a dark color came out, and it was blood. i dont know if i should call my doctor or if this is just drainage from the meds working out what, but it didnt bleed till i started the meds. the effects doesnt say anything about bleeding.
